Ok, so bank balance something about which we all have a wish of having in a large amount. That is quite common and each one of us loves the message that we get from the bank. Which says “Your Account has Been Credited with Amount. And at the same time, we all have the message from the bank that says “Your Account has Been Debited with”.
But on the third end, something in our bank account goes on changing and that is our balance. With every debit transaction, our balance goes down. And with every credit transaction, it goes up. But what about the present balance in your account?
There are various methods using which you can ask the bank to tell you your balance. Today I will tell you how you can check your Canara Bank balance. See it is quite simple but you should make sure that you are not sharing any of your account details with anyone.
Often what happens is you will get a call or SMS or email that says it is coming to form the bank. And to know the details of your account. It will demand you to share your username or password or OTP. But always keep in mind that the bank will never contact you asking for such details.
Some of these methods are free whereas some others will be charged. So it is now your choice for the method. I have explained a few methods below.
What is My Canara Bank Account Balance?
I have already told you that you should never share your bank account details with anyone. And when it comes to login into your account you should always make sure you are using the official website of the bank. I am telling you this because the first method using which you can check your balance is using internet banking.
Internet Banking: Just visit the official website of the bank (www.canarabank.com) and login into your internet banking account. In case you have multiple bank accounts. Then choose any one account. And the balance of the selected account will be displayed to you.
Mobile Banking: Open the Canara Bank mobile banking app and log in to your account. As soon as you login you will be taken to the dashboard. From the dashboard select “My Account Details” and when you select that the balance will be fetched and displayed to you.
ATM Machine: Find any ATM machine irrespective of the bank and insert your card. Go through the instructions given to you by the machine and choose the “Balance Enquiry” option. Later the machine will ask you to select the type of account. (Savings or Current or Credit)
Bank Passbook: You can either use the automatic passbook printing machine or go to the passbook counter at the bank. And get your passbook printed. The balance of your Canara Bank account will be mentioned below the last transaction printed in the book.
Which Method is Free and Which is Not?
Almost all the methods I have mentioned above are free. But there is an exclusion, the ATM one is free only if you have free ATM usage left for the month. If not then the bank will charge you for using the ATM machine. Rest all the methods are free of cost, you will not have to pay anything to the bank.
